Locate the World of Warcraft folder on your PC. Select the ElvUI and ElvUIOptionsUI folders, then right-click to select Copy. Open the extracted folder ' elvui ' to check it contains the correct folders: ElvUI and ElvUIOptionsUI.

I have a Google Docs text file with the profile import code that I update every time I make big changes just so I can always go back to my last best setup if something goes wrong. zip file from the Tukui website to your PC. Tried getting used to the old school UI but it sure misses a lot of good features that ElvUI uses. I've used this for awhile now but I still miss the default vanilla UI.

Comment by BathroomBuddha on T22:28:57-05:00 I keep making backups of the entire WTF folder (where addon's and Client config are stored) from time to time, but you can backup some individualy too, exporting the profiles and stuff. That pretty much serves to almost all important addons. So save your settings just in-case you hit reset. i accidentally pressed rest on another toon thinking it would only reset that one toon, but i think i hit the one that cleared all my profile in the game. The only suggestion i would give to other is that when you have everything the way you like, then export your profile so that you have it saved somewhere. I have been using this UI for a long time now.

How do you know you like one more than the other if you haven't used ElvUI? I'm almost positive you can change ElvUI's skin Comment by JyuViole on T20:50:40-05:00 It's still good they have it available though. ElvUI has such a futuristic look, it's not meant for me. It still keeps the fantasy and immersion in-place, while also making a great UI. I reinstalled my addons on twitch and they work just fine and are in the same folder, and the two folders for Elvui ( ElvUI - ElvUIOptionsUI ) are both in my addons folder too. On first glance I mistook it with classic (patch 1.12) and version just sounds better/more correct for an addon/programm than patch. I extracted the zip to my addons folder being ( Games > WoW > retail > Interface > addons ). I think it should be called 'Version 11.12+' instead of 'Patch 11.12+'. I've tried other ones like Bartender and honestly ElvUI has been my favorite and haven't looked back. Version of ElvUI: 11.372 I've also tried disabling health bars/name plates, that did not resolve the issue. If you manage to pinpoint a conflict between ElvUI and another addon, make sure you include that information. I've tried multiple different settings, graphics etc and while lowest graphics do improve performance a little bit, it's not noticeable. This is important in order to rule out that any of your other addons are causing the issue. Once I disable elvui, I'm back at 100ish, it fluctuates when there's players casting loads of spells, but that was a constant since forever. These frame drops keep constantly happening with only elvui enabled, it drops from 80-70 to 30-40. Where I had the comparisons is: questing -nazmir, vale dailies, uldum dailies, nazjatar, voldun etc etc. I've disabled all addons, and i can reach over 100 fps in most areas, now I'm not talking about places with masses of players or huge raids. Followed blizzards guidelines to improve performance, to which I would also like to note* other games run fine, no issues.

So, I've tried disabling all other addons, reinstalling wow, the addons, WTF, cache etc, checked system temps - they're fine, checked task manager - neither the memory or cpu ever go above 50% while even watching videos on my second monitor on yt.

Now, the reason I'm mentioning these changes, perhaps something else was added/changed? It might be just 8.3 being a shit patch performance-wise, but the framerate issue only now came up. So I've recently returned to WoW and I've downloaded the new elvui, as I always do - the changes to the default actionbars i dislike, but as always I've learned to customize my profile to fit my playstyle.
